June 9, 2021
Source: Partnership on Employment & Accessible Technology (PEAT)

The Partnership on Employment & Accessible Technology (PEAT) released "Building an Accessible Future – Teach Access: A Case Study" as a companion resource to their "Accessibility Playbook for Emerging Technology Initiatives." The case study documents the steps taken to launch and sustain Teach Access, an Office of Disability Employment Policy initiative on including digital accessibility in the technology curriculum for higher education students.

Another resource from PEAT:
The Partnership on Employment & Accessible Technology posted a new episode of its Future of Work podcast series on "Ethics and Bias in Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technology." In this episode, Merve Hickock, founder of AIethicist.org, examines the risks employers carry when using AI-enabled technology in human resources programs and the questions they should ask vendors to avoid bias and discrimination.
