Webinar Series Begins July 30 - The Legacy of the ADA: Celebrating 30 Years of Increasing Access and Opportunity

Hosted by The Council of State Governments, in partnership with the State Exchange on Employment and Disability (SEED), this six-part webinar series explores the origin and legacy of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Learn about the evolution of the ADA and its impacts on state policies, businesses, and communities over the past 30 years. Along with policy makers, industry experts and leaders in the field, we will discuss a variety of policies and programs that can help enhance disability employment policy in your state. Topics will include the history of the ADA, state as a model employer policies, youth transition, stay-at-work/return-to work, accessible technology, and ensuring a disability perspective in state policy.
The webinar series is also presented in partnership with the Cornell Yang Tan Institute on Employment and Disability. The first webinar is on July 30, 2020. Each webinar (Parts 1-6) has its own registration.
