September is National Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Month

September 2, 2021
Source: United Spinal Association

Our community is stronger when it comes together to educate the public on the challenges of living with spinal cord injury (SCI). Despite living with SCI, we believe a full, productive, and rewarding life is within the reach of anyone with the strength to believe it and the courage to make it happen.

As we celebrate SCI Awareness Month, show your support for our mission and community by raising awareness. Each year, United Spinal helps thousands of people overcome the daily challenges of living with SCI and we extend our support to those most important in their lives –– their family members and caregivers. Through our valued partnerships and extensive network within the community, we leverage all of our resources to educate the public on the issues affecting people with SCI.

[Our website has] content we are kindly asking our supporters to share throughout September to help educate the general public on spinal cord injury and spread awareness of our amazing community. If you share any of the content … on your social media networks, use hashtags #UnitedSpinal #WeRollUnited #SCIAwareness.
