Comments Open Until May 3: National Online Dialogue: Advancing Equity in Employment for People with Disabilities

April 27, 2021
Source: U.S. Department of Labor Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP)

Jennifer Sheehy, deputy assistant secretary of labor for disability employment policy, posted a blog on "Needed: Your Ideas for Advancing Equity in Employment for People with Disabilities." The blog highlights input received so far from the "USDOL’s Efforts to Advance Racial & Social Equity in Employment for People with Disabilities" national online dialogue and encourages the public to participate. "Remember: your ideas and comments will help us most equitably deliver vital employment services and supports to all," says Sheehy. "Whether your perspective is that of a worker, job seeker, employer, employment service provider, educator or other, your personal experiences can help us pinpoint ways to ensure access to good jobs for all."

To meet strong participant demand, we are keeping the national online dialogue open until May 3 to get your ideas, comments and votes.

Remember: your ideas and comments will help us most equitably deliver vital employment services and supports to all. National dialogue hosted by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy, Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs and Women’s Bureau. We look forward to hearing from you!
