Help NADTC Learn More About Transportation Diversity in the United States

March 15, 2021
Source: National Aging and Disability Transportation Center (NADTC)

As part of continuing efforts to identify transportation access, usage and disparities that impact diverse groups, the National Aging and Disability Transportation Center (NADTC) has launched a national diversity transportation survey: https://survey-d.dynata.com/survey/selfserve/53b/2102422?list=5&samp=2&source_id=22.

The survey will gauge opinions and obtain information from a representative sample of racially, ethnically and culturally diverse people with disabilities, older adults and family caregivers about their experiences accessing and using local transportation options in the United States.

This is a follow-up survey to one we conducted in 2018. While offering very valuable information, the survey responses at that time were not sufficiently diverse to allow conclusions to be drawn about the experiences of older adults, people with disabilities and their caregivers from diverse communities (e.g., African Americans, Asian Americans, Hispanic Americans, Native Americans, LGBTQ). Thus, with this survey, we hope to expand the results by collecting input from racially and ethnically diverse populations to gain their perspectives and experiences.

Please take a few minutes to share this survey with your constituents and caregivers, as well as partners, stakeholders and community members you are working with in this arena! The survey will remain open until March 31, 2021.
