New Report: Labor Force Characteristics of People with a Disability

November 2, 2018
Source: U.S. Department of Labor

Overall, labor market indicators have improved in the years following the end of the recession. This is true for people with and without a disability. However, these groups experienced different degrees of improvement during this time and continue to have different employment patterns. The Bureau of Labor Statistics released a Statistics Spotlight on “Labor Force Characteristics of People with a Disability” that examines these labor force characteristics and puts them in context by comparing them to those of people with no disability.

NOTE: This report, "Labor Force Characteristics of People with a Disability," is available in two formats - a slideshow or a PDF document. The link to the PDF document is also located below the slideshow window.
