How Accessible is Applying for a Job? Please Share Your Experience

December 12, 2014

The ODEP-funded program, Partnership on Employment & Accessible Technology (PEAT), is conducting a nationwide survey about the accessibility of online job applications and related components - a topic Assistant Secretary Martinez addressed in a blog post published this week. All people with disabilities who have recently searched or applied for employment and/or completed pre-employment assessments online are encouraged to participate. The survey is anonymous, and only takes a few minutes to complete.

If you are a technology user with a disability, or any type of limitation that affects your use of computers and technology, who has recent experiences with looking for a job online, PEAT wants to hear from you. Please take a few minutes to complete their online survey by January 15, 2015.

PEAT is looking for a broad range of users to take the survey, so please also share it with others you know. The results, which will be posted on, will help focus and support PEATs work with employers and technology providers to improve the accessibility of their online job systems.
