Job Description
The Director of the Disability Cultural Center will work collaboratively with diverse constituents to coordinate educational, cultural, and social activities on disability.
The Director is a full-time professional staff member responsible for the overall management of the Center. The position includes administrative, program development/student engagement, outreach/education, managerial, and organizational functions, which support the function of the Center and the broader commitment to inclusivity and social justice at Syracuse University.
The director supervises at least one other staff member, as well as GA’s and any student volunteers. Additionally, the director works in collaboration with student affairs, academic affairs (including the Office of Disability Services), and administrative units across the University to promote a supportive and inclusive campus environment for people with disabilities.
