January is National Mentoring Month

While career mentoring can help foster employment success for any young person, it may be especially beneficial to young people with disabilities just starting out in the workforce. It also benefits employers by boosting retention and workforce inclusion. To help employers implement workplace mentoring initiatives, the EARN website offers downloadable mentoring primers for both federal agencies and private employers.

The National Mentoring Month campaign toolkit provides guidance on the most impactful ways you can lend your voice to the mentoring movement. an annual, high-profile campaign to draw attention to the need for more volunteer mentors to help young people achieve their full potential.
