JAN Releases New Accommodation and Compliance Series Publication: Employees Who Are Pregnant

Pregnancy can present challenges at work for some individuals who experience pregnancy–related complications and limitations that are substantially limiting. Employers are required to treat pregnant employees the same as non-pregnant employees who are similar in their ability or inability to work, and may have to provide reasonable accommodations to enable pregnant employees to work effectively during pregnancy.
To help educate employers and individuals about pregnancy-related accommodation solutions and the requirements of the ADA and Pregnancy Discrimination Act (PDA), JAN has released a publication in its Accommodation and Compliance Series: Employees Who Are Pregnant.
