Neighborhood Wayfinding Assessment: A Pocket Guide

November 8, 2012
Source: Project Action EasterSeals EXTRA

This guide to neighborhood wayfinding, developed in partnership by the CDC Healthy Aging Research Network and ESPA, describes things to consider when walking, bicycling or taking a bus or train to reach stores, community centers, libraries, parks, trails, restaurants, places of worship, or other destinations of choice.

Individuals and groups can use the checklist in the pocket guide to assess signage and walkway availability and path of travel conditions in their communities. Order or download copies of the guide online.
