New Factsheet: ADA, Addiction, and Recovery for State and Local Governments

The New England ADA Regional Center and the Pacific ADA Regional Center have published a factsheet, The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Addiction, and Recovery for State and Local Governments, the third in the ADA, Addiction, and Recovery series. The fact sheet provides information about how the ADA applies to state and local governments and their interactions with people with addiction to alcohol and people in recovery from opioids and other drugs. It includes several examples of how the ADA covers social service programs, criminal justice systems, housing, and healthcare exceptions.
