EEOC Seeks Comments for NPRM on Federal Government and Affirmative Action Obligations to People with Disabilities

Source: EEOC Proposes Regulations Describing Federal Government Obligations to Engage in Affirmative Action for People with Disabilities

The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) published a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) on federal agenciesí obligations to engage in affirmative action in employment for individuals with disabilities.

EEOC has also published a question-and-answer document on the NPRM and a document providing background information and a summary of the NPRM.

The comment period closes on April 25, 2016 for the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM).
