Justice Department Reaches ADA Settlement Agreement with Kentucky Business

December 2, 2014
Source: U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ)

This settlement agreement is based upon a complaint filed with the United States Department of Justice alleging that the property in Owensboro, Kentucky, owned by Jerry and Carolyn DeSpain Rental LLC, leased to a hearing aid center, does not have an accessible entrance for individuals with mobility disabilities, preventing such individuals from the full use of its facilities and services in violation of Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
