This webinar will review the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and other laws that apply to health care, with a focus on the rights and responsibilities for effective communication for people with hearing, vision, and cognitive disabilities in health care settings. Discussion topics will include common auxiliary aids, services, and strategies to ensure effective communication, as well as ADA and local resources for training and technical assistance support.
