National Disability Institute and Citi Community Development

Join National Disability Institute and Citi Community Development on Tuesday, October 22 from 3:00 - 4:00 P.M. Eastern Time, as we celebrate National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM).

Employment plays an integral role in building a person’s financial stability. Municipalities and community-based organizations across the country are integrating financial capability services into their employment programs to improve the financial stability of the individuals they serve. This panel discussion will highlight examples of how programs have integrated financial capability strategies into workforce development programs. New resources and tools will also be shared.

Empowered Cities is a partnership between Citi Community Development (CCD) and National Disability Institute (NDI) that engages municipalities and community partners across the United States to design, test and deliver innovative and scalable solutions for expanding financial empowerment and financial inclusion in the disability community.
