Join Atlanta Focus Group Study on Use of Smart Phones by Switch Users

September 21, 2015
Source: Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center for Wireless Technologies (Wireless RERC) and the Shepherd Center

The Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center for Wireless Technologies (Wireless RERC) and the Shepherd Center in Atlanta, Georgia is planning a focus group study on smart phone use by switch users (sip-and-puff, single or dual switch buttons, or other mechanism). The study will take place in early October in Atlanta.

The study has 3 parts: 1) meeting at the Shepherd Center for about 2 hours for a group discussion; 2) take-home use of a new smart phone for 1 week; 3) 1 hour interview about your experience using the smart phone at the end of the week. They are looking for switch users who also use either a smart phone or a tablet to participate. This is a good opportunity to learn about new technology that is still in development.

During the meeting there will be food and beverages. Participants will also receive $150.00 as thanks for their help.
